About Us

Very Barry Labs was started by Barry Fischer in 2024.

Barry is a tinkerer, dad, and author based in northern California. Prior to Very Barry Labs, he worked at companies like Tesla and Google, where he made science-driven educational content for global public audiences. At Google, Barry created and hosted the award-winning podcast, Where the Internet Lives. 

In spring 2024, Very Barry Labs published the debut board book Thinking Through Planet Earth.
